Welcome to silly_moogle's subsite: "vectorRide", a final home for my vector art projects. Most of these are vector traces, now done in Illustrator CS2 (a.k.a. Illustrator 11). To my surprise, PNG-24 format (file size) seems to be smaller than high quality JPGs for these images of same dimensions, and they allow for Transparancy effects better than GIF.

	Gradiant mesh madness on Sept. 5, 2007 I'm trying harder to familiarize my self with meshs in Illustrator. The one on the right... has been a long time work in progress for a couple of months. I'd get frustrated and move on to other vectors. The one on the right is one I worked on last week

*Line Mode Explained:

Stroke
- Outline defined by pen stroke color = black, fill = transparent.
- Good to start out with and get used to the pen tool.
- Immediate gratification.
- Problem: LivePaint occationally has issues. To remedy this, I personally copy the outline layer for the color boundaries. Outline Layer is on top. Color boundaries strokes are all transparent color.
Color Region
- Pen stroke color is transparent. Think full control.
- Best results
- Time consuming. Best used on Manga images, life drawings, etc, where the shape of the line is just as important as the region it encompaces.

	Someday's Dreamers Yume and her hat is flying away in the breeze. But the hat isn't shown yet. (Is planned for)
	Maria-sama ga Miteru Vector Trace of the image that first got me interested in the series by Kaoru. This is the first "Fan Art' I've started tracing.
